Fake Demo Singles?

Because of their desirability, some unscrupulous people have faked demo copies of the singles and a small number appear to have cropped up on the market being sold as the genuine article. Below are images of some of the demo singles we've encountered and why we believe they're not the genuine article.

Side 1: Help!
Side 2: I'm Down
.

This 'demo copy' of Help! recently sold on the eBay Internet auction site. The inconsistancies are...

-
The font. That particular style was *never* used on either the demo or commerical press.

-
The rimtext starts with 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd', something that did not appear on singles until later on in 1965 when their next single 'Day Tripper' was on the shelves.

-
The white label does not cover the dinking around the edge that all the other white label Parlophone demos did both before and after.
